LOGAN CUP CONCEPT

Renault Sport Technologies has developed three kits to adapt Logan 1.6 (90 hp) for use in circuit racing and rallying (tarmac or gravel). A very enjoyable and safe car to drive, the purpose of Logan Cup is to make motorsport accessible to as many people as possible by keeping the sale price and operating costs of the vehicle as low as possible.

Three spare parts kits (circuit, tarmac rally and gravel rally) designed to be fitted to Logan 1.6 (90 hp) are available for sale. Each kit contains essential safety equipment, parts designed to improve reliability and performance, as well as design features. There are few differences between the various versions. It is therefore relatively easy and inexpensive to move from one version to the other whilst keeping the same car.

The main powertrain components, such as the engine, gearbox and brakes, are as per the production car on all versions. This helps to ensure that operating costs are kept to a minimum, maximum durability of parts and easy procurement of spare parts from the Renault and Dacia dealer networks.

Logan Cup owners will be able to take part in “open” (i.e. open to all brands) rally (Group N) or circuit motorsport events. Depending on the country, Logan Cup single brand championships may be organized by Renault or Dacia. Logan Cup kits are available in all countries where Logan is available for sale. They may be ordered from Renault and Dacia dealers that distribute Logan or by clicking on this link.
